The world after its downfall. Among the survivors, a terminally ill father and his young son. They head south through landscapes of rubble and clouds of ash to escape the winter. A shopping cart carries their few belongings. Apart from that, they have nothing but their clothes, a revolver with two cartridges - and each other.
