Viktoria Oppenhoff grew up in Bochum. After training as an optician, she studied law in Lüneburg and cultural studies in Amsterdam. She then worked as a project manager for an NGO that runs literacy programs in the US. Viktoria currently works as a freelance copywriter in Hamburg. She also gives writing courses in retirement homes and prisons.
