Biography
Michel S. Moushabeck is a writer, editor, translator, publisher, and musician of Palestinian descent.
He is the founder of Interlink Publishing, a 40-year-old, Massachusetts-based, independent publishing house. He is a regular contributor to Truthout.org and the Massachusetts Review and the author of several books including, Kilimanjaro: A Photographic Journey to the Roof of Africa.
He is the recipient of the 2024 Arab American of the Year Award and was shortlisted for the Prix Voltaire, the Independent Publishers Association's Freedom to Publish Award. He is the founder of Layaali Arabic Music Ensemble and he serves on the board of trustees of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction (IPAF), the Arabic Booker.
