Rita Barotta is a gender academic, expert, and lecturer. She holds a PhD in humanities, specializing in gender and sexuality. With over 14 years of experience in higher education, her work engages feminist scholarship, media, and discourse, with a focus on sexuality, representation, and knowledge production. She is the author of three poetry books and a journalist whose work focuses on lived experiences and literature. She is fluent in four languages and works as a creative writing facilitator on SRHR, the body, space, and feminist epistemologies.
