Leonardo Garzaro

Biography

Leonardo Garzaro is an author, editor and journalist. Born in São Paulo in 1983, he has founded several independent publishing houses and published dozens of books. He currently writes for PublishNews and the culture section of Valor Economico, one of Brazil's largest newspapers. Some of his short stories have been published in the award-winning North American magazine Literal Latin Voice. The literary magazine Latin America Literature Today (LALT), named his short story The Fanatic's Story one of the ten best of 2023.
He is a Brazilian literature consultant for the publishers Monogramático, in Argentina; Textofilia Ediciones, in Mexico; Corredor Sur, in Ecuador; and the Turkish agency Introtema. His latest novel, The Guardian of Names, was published in four countries and was nominated for the Jabuti Award for Literature. 
Leonardo Garzaro lives in Sao Paulo with his wife and three children.
