Volume 2 of Manès Sperber's Selected Works contains his well-known trilogy of novels Wie eine Träne im Ozean (Like a Tear in the Ocean) and was supervised by Rudolf Isler, who began the Selected Works of Manès Sperber with the three-part autobiography All das Vergangene (All the Past) .... Volume 3, entitled Zur Analyse der Tyrannis, brings together the most important essays on cultural theory and social analysis. All volumes offer a passage commentary to break down historical references, as well as a contextualizing epilogue that introduces the respective texts.
